Core Connection

Core Connection is designed for women. We focus on developing and balancing our anatomical center, our deep core. This includes our hips, and back, as well, as abdominals. We can strengthen our bodies, eliminate pains, strengthen pelvic floor muscles, improve our sleep, digestion and circulation, and overcome the side effects of aging, with a few minutes of core work designed for women.

Yin Yoga

We use props: bolsters, blankets, pillows, blocks, etc. to support our bodies in poses. This allows us to rest into the pose without needing to engage our muscles to support the pose. We hold the poses longer to allow time for a deeper release and open up more space in the body. You can improvise with couch cushions, bed pillows, blankets, a robe tie, small, sturdy boxes and books.

If you want yoga props, Amazon has an assortment of options. Contact me if you have any questions about them, before, or after purchasing.

Rest & Reset

Rest & Reset — A Yoga Nidra Experience

Give yourself a gentle reprieve as the year winds down, and step into the new year with more ease, clarity, and calm. Rest & Reset is your invitation to refresh your mind and body, release the weight you’ve been carrying, and create space for what feels supportive moving forward.

What Is Yoga Nidra?

Imagine someone tucks you into the coziest blanket fort ever. You get to lie down, close your eyes, and listen to a story that helps your whole body relax.
Yoga Nidra is like that.
It’s “yoga sleep,” a special kind of rest where you stay awake just enough to hear the words, but your body gets to take the deepest nap it knows how to take.
Your muscles relax, your mind gets quiet, and everything inside you goes, “Ahhh… finally.”

How Yoga Nidra Helps Your Nervous System

Your nervous system is like your body’s boss—it tells everything when to speed up and when to slow down. Sometimes the boss gets tired from too many to-dos, worries, or busy days. Yoga Nidra is like sending that boss on vacation.
During the practice:

  • Your breath becomes softer (your body’s signal for safety)

  • Your stress response turns down

  • Your rest-and-restore mode turns on

  • Your brain shifts into healing, repairing, replenishing

This gentle practice helps you release tension from the end of the year, while giving your mind and body the reset they crave as you step into a fresh season.

A Moment for You

Come rest.
Come reset.
Come refresh your energy and receive the reprieve your nervous system has been asking for.

A soft landing at the end of the year, and a clear, calm beginning for the one ahead.
